Secondary Education

Secondary education serves as the backbone of the overall educational journey of a learner. Ironically, it gathers least attention from educational policymakers worldwide.

World Curriculum is creating a global outreach for providing learning opportunities for all age groups, irrespective of economic conditions, religious/ cultural restrictions, wars, pandemics, and natural calamities.

Technology has allowed World Curriculum and its partner schools to deliver online content based upon a global curriculum automatically translated in over 100 languages of the world. The content and assessments are accessible on economical smart phones with affordable data plans for most people even in developing countries.

The World Curriculum experts started by comparing several national and international curricula. The world curriculum for grades 6, 7 and 8 was thus created on the basis of these comparative studies.

The UNESCO International Bureau of Education in Geneva (Switzerland) published a report on future competencies and the future of curriculum in 2019. The World Curriculum experts have taken into account the findings of this report while designing the high school (grades 9, 10, 11 and 12) curriculum.

Last but not the least, a research study facilitated by the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA is underway to understand how high school curriculum can be designed in accordance with the specific hiring requirements of the information technology industry in Silicon Valley, California.
